Smith Cemetery is located in section 30 of Bethany Township, Harrison County, and is approximately three miles southwest of Bethany. It is barely accessable, is several hundred yards from the road and can only be found with assistance from local residents or the landowner. Although a fence remains around the cemetery, it is not maintained. The cemetery is on property originally owned by Vincent Smith and is essentially the Smith family graveyard.
